JAECOO X OOR OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE TERMS & CONDITIONS
ALL VISITORS TO THE OFFICIAL JAECOO SOUTH AFRICA WEBSITE AND/OR ANY ASSOCIATED COMPETITION ENTRY PLATFORM ARE DEEMED TO HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
The JAECOO x OOR Outdoor Experience Competition (“the Competition”) is conducted by JAECOO South Africa. By participating, all entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 The Competition is open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older with a valid driver’s licence.
1.2 Employees of JAECOO South Africa, their advertising agencies, dealers, affiliates, suppliers, immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the Competition are not eligible to enter.
1.3 By entering, participants warrant that all information submitted is true, accurate, and complete.
2. COMPETITION PERIOD
2.1 The Competition runs from 24 April 2026 to 29 April 2026.
2.2 Entries received outside of this period will not be considered valid.
3. HOW TO ENTER – SOCIAL COMPETITION
3.1 To enter, participants must:

Tag the 5 friends they would bring to the OOR Outdoor Experience in the comments.
Ensure each friend follows JAECOO South Africa and OOR Outdoor Experience on the relevant social media platform.
3.2 Entries must be publicly visible for verification purposes.
3.3 Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or do not comply with entry requirements will be disqualified.
4. PRIZES
4.1 1 x winner will receive an OOR Outdoor Experience worth R17,000 for themselves and 5 friends. This includes access to a designated VIP area at the event.
4.2 The event takes place on 2 May 2026.
4.3 Transport to and from the venue is not included, and winners are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
4.4 Any additional expenses incurred at the event will be for the winner’s own account.
4.5 All prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash unless otherwise specified by the Promoter.
5. WINNER SELECTION
5.1 Winners will be selected from all valid entries received during the Competition Period.
5.2 Selection may include a combination of random draw and qualitative selection based on entry responses, at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
5.3 The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION
6.1 Winners will be contacted via direct message on the platform used to enter.
6.2 Winners must respond within 24 hours of notification. Failure to respond may result in disqualification and selection of an alternative winner.
6.3 The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identity and eligibility before prize allocation.
6.4 JAECOO South Africa reserves the right to verify winner eligibility before prize allocation.
7. PUBLICITY
7.1 By entering the Competition, participants consent to JAECOO South Africa using their name, social media handle, likeness, and submitted content for promotional and marketing purposes across digital and social platforms, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
8. POPIA & DATA PROTECTION
8.1 By entering the Competition, participants consent to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal information by JAECOO South Africa and its authorised service providers for the purposes of administering this Competition.
8.2 Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
8.3 Personal data will not be sold or shared with third parties not directly involved in the administration of the Competition, unless required by law or with prior consent.
8.4 Participants have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.
9. LIABILITY & INDEMNITY
9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, JAECOO South Africa, Groovers Prayer, and their respective affiliates, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising out of participation in the Competition or acceptance/use of the prize.
9.2 Participants indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter against any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from their participation in the Competition or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
9.3 The Promoter is not responsible for any technical failures, network issues, or platform errors that may affect entry submission, communication, or winner selection.
10. GENERAL CONDITIONS
10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process or submits fraudulent, misleading, or incomplete information.
10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
10.3 No responsibility is accepted for entries not received for any reason.
10.4 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary.
11. SOCIAL PLATFORM DISCLAIMER
11.1 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with META or any other social media platform used for promotion.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
12.1 By participating in this Competition, entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
